Do I need to know how to write to be a writer?

What a question and it’s something I get asked a lot Do I need to be a good speller and have good grammar to be a good writer.

The answer is no

You do not need to be a great speller or have excellent grammar to be a good writer or blogger that’s what an editor is for and well grammar nazies will soon let you know anyway.

If the only thing holding you back is your worried someone is going to say your stupid you can’t spell! I wouldn’t let that worry you people wait for you to fail and then pounce on you no matter how good your spelling is. So don’t let them be the only reason you don’t ever even try.

It’s actually been proven a grade 5 level of spelling and grammar is enough to write good content for a blog. in fact most normal people are reading at that level not everyone was born with a silver spoon in their mouth.

So be free write what you like so long as it makes sense your gonna be fine.

However, keep in mind your always gonna make a mistake and people will always love to point it out. just remember the people that matter will move on and get over it. Those that don’t where never their to bring anything good to the table anyway and who wants to surround themself with that.

Moral of the day just write the more you do it the better you get and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.
